Featured: Handwoven Indian Scarves

We set the scene in the Himalayan valley of Manali, India. This valley is nestled high up in the Himalayas, far away, near the top of the world. The weaving industry is a main source of income in this community, situated on the trade route known as the Wool Road. This art form has remained unchanged for centuries.

It continues today using traditional framed looms and skills passed down from generation to generation. Sourcing yarn from local mountain sheep, goats and yaks, the industry continues to support all aspects of the community. The final product is stunningly intricate and masterfully constructed. We are delighted to be providing these beautifully handwoven, 100% wool scarves to our customers this Autumn.
